FS: DNA Starlett (w/ lots of toobz)

Starlett Unit #2 in original packaging and accessories w/ f**k ton of tubes (various output, input, and rectifier tubes) that will last you years. @pure5152 has been using it for a bit since he lives close to me, so he will ship it to you once I receive payment so there's no wasted money on shipping.

This has been my main amp for a while, but most of my listening time is done on my heavily modded Elekit so I will be letting go of this amp.

Unit was in pretty top notch condition in terms of cosmetics, I baby all my gears and often clean them from dust. For full transparency, there's a small little quirk where if I touch the volume knob w/ my bare hands, I hear very feint static noise? that can only be heard with no music playing. It's not even loud enough to affect your listening and once you set your volume on the amp, it'll remain dead quiet. Weirder thing is when I move the knob while covering my hand w/ my shirt or something, I don't hear the noise anymore. Donald and I tried to troubleshoot it but we concluded that it's not a ground loop or grounding issues in my outlet. Donald said he would take a look at it next time we meet in person but COVID and stuff lol It's really not a big issue for me, but I wanted to let you know before sale.

I'm asking $1750 NET to me (Starlett is heavy af and will be fully insured no exceptions w/ signature). Friends and known contributors only for now. I'll open it up to others after a week or two, thanks!

 

You doing a bit of switching between the diode and UL modes on the Elekit?

 

at first, yes, but lately I've been listening to triode mode most of the time. I tend to listen to my Elekit a lot louder on UL mode so I'm trying to refrain from abusing my ears if possible haha
