At least with IEMs my notes are that cheap stuff is getting shockingly good but the upper end (not that I've been trying a lot out here) has just been making incremental improvements. I'd say you're well sorted then, hah.

@insidious meme basically the same lineup I have. One of each well regarded/reviewed BA, DD, and Planar. In the end I mostly prefer the BA, but it is good to have choices.

No longer have any Andromedas to compare, but I have some Aras on loan and really like them. Seemed a little bright at first listen but I acclimated and like the space/detail as well as the consistency of timbre throughout the FR. All BA, so cleaner/clearer presentation if you like that. Sorry if off-topic, but Campfire Audio still relevant. :)

I had very little luck with a R6 Pro II Gen2; the thing corrupted 3 different SD cards and bricked itself on 2 occasions... Sound was pretty okay, at least no Sabre-Glare.

I think it's a heat issue with the external nvme drive I'm using. But let me rule out other stuff first.

I lose my connection to the USB drive if I slightly touch the drive. I think it’s a RPi USB interface issue.

Last time I played around with MoOde (6-ish months ago) I found it to be crappy and unreliable. Ropieee is much better from that standpoint and you don't have to pay to use it with Qobuz or Tidal unlike Volumio.

Ha, similar problems after replacing my dying modem-router combo with individual units rented from the ISP - wireless range to the bedroom Pi became the issue.

Hard to see how this will end up lowering ticket prices. Live Nation preference for buildings they own isn't the reason why ticket prices are so nuts. Blame artists who don't want to alienate fans by charging true market value of their tickets.
