@Ringingears I would hope that they looked good, there's a reason I know for a fact that undoing the tape will widen the tears, haha.

Could be placebo but bass seems a touch fuller, though it's not a significant difference from before. My only regret is that I'd forgotten to place the shelf liner back in before taping things shut.

Unrelated topic not worth another profile post: listening to music (not the above) when very much over-caffeinated can make it feel like the tempo for every track is set to 0.95x.

        Knowing me... I'm triple-checking settings.

On my end, yeah, more areas are getting 24h curfews. I'm starting to think the response to this all may well be excessive, but if this keeps fatalities down then so be it.

I have a friend in Wuhan who is in day 36 of absolute lockdown only leaving the apartment to pick up groceries dropped off on the ground in the courtyard. They have managed to stay upbeat though I’m sure it has been difficult at times. Try to stay positive and do fun things with your family. Y’all need each other more than ever now! India seems to be doing pretty well, so far. Just hoping it is not massive under-reporting with sufferers and even deaths being in denial and not reporting, whilst infecting many others, the while.

Recommend the HE-500 with a few mods or (more like AND), though ultra rare, a modded HE-4. The former fills me with
romanticism and dreamyness from head to toe. Excellent extension to both sides, the only headphone that give me mids
like a HD 650, just a bit different, more dreamy, seductive. Overall much better bass.

The HE-4 is fast and agile like a cheetah, very airy and instantaneous. There's no planar like it. Actually I don't know about any other headphone like it. Evan Schaaf mentioned it being like a planar ATH-ADX5000.

To be honest, not sure about going all in with planars, I'm pretty content with dynamics for now (and building a dedicated system for them...), but if funds allow in the future it'll be a fun project! :)
