When I retired from the city we had an email signature generator on the intranet that we entered all our personal and contact info and it created a sig with the logo link to the city website, disclaimer, and whatever else they wanted everyone's sig to look like, in both mobile and desktop versions. They changed it up now and then for special events and the like.

After de-soldering a busted power jack, on trying to clear the PCB slots I destroyed the sleeve contact's pad - but stupidly didn't check continuity before soldering the new jack in. So rather than risk a repeat, I made like the Buffalo Girls.

First time I went to a football game at AT&T stadium (aka Jerryworld) and when it first opened my AT&T cell service was unusable. I had 5 bars but nothing worked at all from the backend load. They finally fixed that too.

I use color coded dots. it isn't perfect, but it helps match the gear to the power supply brick.

One term at university, I developed severe writer’s block. It affected only one course. (My others had exams.) The important information is what cured it: the university required all undergrads in my department to take a 300-level writing course. The goal was to teach students to write simply and clearly for an educated lay audience. It was one of the three most-useful courses I’ve ever taken.
