@E_Schaaf I just learned that recently too, and it blew my mind! But then I noticed that, due to its stigma, it lacks proper research at therapeutic, prescription doses, and may in fact be a very helpful drug. In retrospect, I'm not too surprised given amphetamines in general are a very common prescription for ADHD.

What's particularly funny is how highly rated the brand name meth is, by users, on sites like drugs.com :)

I've cycled through virtually every FDA-approved ADHD treatment over the course of many years aside from Desoxyn. Most psychiatrists aren't even aware that it exists, and evidently pharmacies will give you one hell of a time trying to fill a script. Same with Dexedrine. Kind of a shame if there's actual therapeutic potential.

I did a temporary swap of my DAC1541 with a fellow enthusiast's Gungnir DS, had it about 3 months or so now. It's a different character of course, but very enjoyable in it's own right. I think I will miss it when we swap back next week.

I was thinking of the new Bifrost t (hence the desire for a nearby Schiitr) so I'm wondering how much of an improvement it'd be. I remember the old DAC chart, the resolution seems to jump with M/B, but would I hear it?

I'll say that the 1541 is also on my radar though...I really enjoyed the 2 Soekris loaners I participated in. I think I like their DACs.

They need to fix the search horsecrap first. Can't believe it still can't find anything except candy crush.

My computer cannot copy files to an SD card or anything...they disappear. one 'fix' was stopping & restarting explorer.exe. That and a few other things just didn't work.

There was a custom tag there for a while. Doesn't bother me at all, just curious like my avatar.

It's Alex Rosson, who left Audeze to Sankar Thiagusamadram (or however you spell his last name). They founded Audeze together. The Rosson First Edition looks mildly interesting, but I've become less and less enamored by planar magnetics as I gain more experience. Take my opinion with a pound of salt though since I jumped on the ZMF hype train.

I only tried one IEM, the Aria that was a bit odd (wonky mids), but I guess not bad for a 1st go. He seems to excel at woodworking and the cables look intriguing.

He's got more than a few vids up with different builds too. I'm no DIY-er, but they are intriguing.

Any highlights from the meet?

The people of course...this is such a solitary hobby, I always find it refreshing to chat in person with like minded individuals. As far as gear, @thegunner100 's ZDT , @Overkill Red 's Pendant and (I believe it was @GanGreinke 's) Liquid Platinum were eye openers for me...tubes galore.
