Going to Berlin next month. Short stay. If you have tips, let me know. Much appreciated.

You can easily spend a week in Berlin getting through all the museums and attraction. Seeing some part of the The Berlin Wall is mandatory at some point in your life and worth it. I liked the park Tiergarten which is nice for a long walk. Try eating out in the different craft beer pubs around Berlin. I usually go for the craftbeer places with good ratings which aren't exactly on the main street, less touristy.

Go to Berghain? That funktion one system, tuned the way it is, in that room, is still the best system I have ever heard. Funktion ones usually aren't my favourite, but that system and room just works. Damn. Also eat a kebab and some currywurst to help the hangover.

Funny, as Colors is the only album of his I don't care for. He's a blast to see live, by the way, if you get the chance. You can tell he and his band have a lot of fun with it.

He rocked a pan flute. That is like Kate Bush using a didgeridoo like a bass and rhythm guitar at once in the song "The Dreaming." When artists do weird things like that I take notice. Pop can be amazing. Jethro Tull would be so proud...

Bit of a new sound for Beck and I think I like it. Feels like a Peter Gabriel & Daft Punk mashup and I say that in a good way. Should go well on the radio too?

It's a great feeling to go through books after a long slough being unable to stomach more than a few pages at a time. I really should be reviewing, but I somehow ended up tearing through the bulk of Anthony Ryan's Raven's Shadow series over the last week.

Amen to that. Come to think of it, back in the day in high school even this felt like a luxury. I changed the wristbands 3 times on my 2004 vanilla G that continues to work flawlessly and is presentable enough to be worn routinely.
