Good news. Survived Monday. I think the moon is chocolate. I had a chocolate croissant. Well at least chocolate and butter then. Silly... May 21, 2019 at 3:45 AM

Rossetta Stoned > Vicarious. Don't mean to go total fanboy here but I have always enjoyed the direction that band has been evolving... and yet Ænima has always been my favorite.

I'm excited to hear it, but even 10,000 Days took long to come out. And they pretty much did Lateralus all over again with crappier pacing. Haven't heard the new tracks, but it would've been cool for them to do a complete left turn like Kid A, after all these years. But yeah, a good prog rock record is quite enough at this point.

It’s sad, Firefox only has ~4% market share now, they may not be around much longer.

Pale Moon... Looks and feels like Firefox used to do when it was a good browser that didn't just want to be Chrome. It supports the old extensions infrastructure too. Can't say, though, how many developers might not think it worthwhile to support us ff fork users.

I find that printing and reading on real paper is way more effective for finding errors than reading on-screen. Not sure why this is.

The job was a great fit. Ambitious but doable. If ever you need to present yourself for a job and you are 95% certain there will be a screen or projector, prepare those slides and go for it. One dude simply impressed with his tattoos. It was a bit random. Lesson learnt...

I always try to opt for the direct and personal approach. You get many noes but it is possible to catch a big fish. You simply go out there, whether you are the best candidate or not does not matter.

You show up and are motivated enough to face the music. That is risky but unique opportunities do present themselves.

I am tired of working at an organisation where I feel stuck. I can do my job flawlessly but there is no joy in it. Some decisions there disgust me but hey I am not in charge. At one point you have to make a decision. At least I am leaving on good terms. That way I can still keep the kind people close as friends...

@elguapo, years ago I tried both Mint and Personal Capital and vastly preferred the latter. Mint felt more budget-focused, and I was tired of seeing red flags and getting emails for going $5 over my allocated grocery budget for the week. Personal Capital is more focused on net worth and tracking investment portfolios, which jives better with my current goals.
