@rhythmdevils there's a reason it was 4 pairs. They're intoxicating. If you can own multiple pairs of speakers, would be worth owning them and others simultaneously.

Good advice here! I’m a fan of Klipsch and JBL too. If you can find a nice used pair, they’re definitely worth the audition. The Magnepan LRS is pretty much unbeatable imho for those looking to try planar speaker panels or who want to see what the brand is about. It’s also for those on a moderate budget who are hesitant to go second hand.

I always welcome music suggestions. @rhythmdevils I frequent your thread and hope MuppetFace will continue to share recommendations.

How did it sound?

I believe they are fully-in on in house development now and things are running like a real business it seems. The last I'd say 10 years at meets I can see how they are building on a team that was already solid. I'd join their team honestly - just like Schiit.

@rhythmdevils Way less veiled, slightly warm, better sense of control over the drivers. Basically how I was expecting them to sound based on all the praise over the years.

The ones I had back in 2012 were pretty muddy sounding, while the modded ones I’ve heard sounded more resolving. This latest one sounded best, almost like a different beast.
