Even before I clicked on the link, I thought of Goop.

That stuff is way crazier than the most extreme of audiowhackery.

Aventine CD, Run Cried the Calling track, see if you can help me id the very faint 4k or so fast deet deet sound in the right channel at :03, :10, and :41. What can be making this faint sound?

I've been out of the loop w/ all the greedy, horrid & evil shit Monsanto been up to; but regardless:

Could you guys share some pointers, tips or tricks on how to avoid buying & eating Monsanto-made (aka: stolen->modified->patented->sued/fined->re-sold) GMO seeds (cereals, oatmeal, etc) or how to avoid using their carcinogenic ingredients (in household/pesticide/food products)?
Good stores to shop at to avoid it all?

use Jdownloader, it offers you to split and cut your download for whatever you need out of the youtube video. Just copy and paste the URL wait a few seconds until it shows you what you want from it. Make your choice. Easy.

Don't underestimate nice UI, though. That's basically what attracted me to JRiver - plus all the automation stuff it has for syncing devices, auto-transcoding and so forth.

Lots of people wouldn't hesitate to spend $70 on a more comfy headphone cable, after all. A nicer-feeling player with better browse and search UI? Not so minor.

Part of why I've been using F2k for years is the fact that I could load the screen with all sorts of visualisations to help me learn how to listen and what to listen for, haha. Incidentally, I used to work in marketing, so I know how much a pretty package influences perception of quality :P

But yeah, reserving a hard call until I get to spend more time with A+ and the fancy box loses its influence.
