A new "high fidelity" DAC Chip from a company I never heard of

    It's apparently 32 bit if I read that correctly. I wonder if this means it will be used multibit ala Schiit? Or do I not know how DAC chips work (I don't)?

    Not multibit. I suggest some googling on delta sigma chip basics vs multibit or R2R designs. Lots of good stuff here - use super search or on the web. Pretty good overall videos on youtube as well.

    I can say that after fire at AKM, there will be more unknown DAC chips from small manufacturers showing up. We are also playing with a few of them.
