    Hello!

I had planned on reterminating my stock Verum cable, however it did not go to plan. The strands were far too small for me to work with.

I was considering a generic option from Amazon but would like to save money if possible.

If anyone has a spare cable not being used or is interested in many Hifiman pad options I would be happy to trade and ship them to you.

Please PM me with the options available. Thank you!

Is verum 1 dual 3.5mm ? If so I have an unused audiophile ninja XLR cable if you're interested. I think it's 6ish feet long though.

Hey, @HotRatSalad I'm pretty sure it's 2.5mm. Thank you for reaching out so promptly. It should be akin to many Hifiman cables.

hi. I am a Verum 1 (Mk.2) owner, it's 2 x 3.5 mm headphone side, in fact, I am still trying to sell the Periapt XLR to 2 x 2.5 mm cable I ordered last May due to the same confusion. not long ago an XLR to 2 x 3.5 mm from OIDIO got delivered and it's a good fit, as expected.

I'm not sure if the jack size changed when it went from mk1 to mk2, but the original Verum 1 had 2.5mm jacks... but later got changed to 3.5mm.

That is correct. I have one of the original versions with 2.5mm connectors.

ha! this explains how I got confused, because I did do my research back then and I am pretty certain I knew what I was doing while ordering, but when the cable showed up last May the connectors were too thin!
