  How is it going...its been a while. All the covid relief went into my system. Wywires diamond USB cable. Traded my Mad Sci power cord for Wywires platinum. Upgraded USB card to a JCAT XE. Adding a triode into the system. Lordgwyn's Airmid 5998 triode OTL, Monster Zero reviewed on Youtube. It's at least comparable to a Glen. Anyway would be good to hear from you again.   Hey! Haven't seen much from you in a while - hope all is well. I don't know if you remember this, but at RMAF 2017 when the CO crew met for lunch with Tyll and Zach and the guys from Schiit, there was this incredible low-frequency rattling in the ceiling when the HVAC system kicked in.     Every time this has been brought up Jason says Wyrd and Eitr are dead after they sell out. They apparently don't move enough of them to warrant the additional R&D/investment, etc.

    I found removing grills from HFM headphones made zero difference to the sound. Did you settle on the Bryston after trying lots of different speaker amps with the HE-6?

    Bryston isn’t the be all end all but it’s certainly no slouch. I have a 250W amp sitting here but convenience and fear of blown drivers keeps me content with the versatile BHA-1.

    All the best, @cskippy. Surgery is wonderful. It changed my life when I thought that five years of chronic coughing and illness was going to go on for ever. And I got seven weeks off work too! And pretty nurses.
