Gawd damn...I hate coffee....such a fickle beast Mar 30, 2021

All in the grinder my dude. A mazzer mini is the best investment I have ever made in an appliance. 4 - 6 double shots a day for me and the wife for 10 years now, and going strong with almost no maintenance. My shots went from inconsistent and frustrating to beautiful, reliable and topped with crema.

I love coffee.....Just my ethiopians were tasting good but my South Americans not so much. Changed the water composition and tasted amazing...but then its just another bag of worms....different water for every coffee...past the grind size, temp, ratio, pour method....it was a moment of.....fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I just have a modern cello, but decent cello strings from larsen or spirocore cost a lot. almost 400 for a set, and strings usually are supposed to be changed every 120hrs....4 hrs of playing that's every month, but we don't abide by those rules strictly ><.

I think they are great! Prob one of the best linears out there. smooth stock, but you should lube and film them for the best sound. I have a sound comparison here for zealios vs tangerines.

Curious how GoldPoint would get a 'sound'...resistor selection? It is just resistors in the path, plus whatever rollof the cable capacitance might introduce, no? What am I missing?

Its entirely possible to alter sound via fw
During sony Ericsson days we had a tool "Far Manager". Used that to flash different set of audio drivers to 2 units of K750i and a W800i. Sony warm organic dsp was built in some of those drivers. The two K750i with diff FW we flashed had varying loudness and sound signature

The false rumor came largely from a spat between the Germans and the Italians. At the time, Italian opera conductors were refusing to do German operas in German, which greatly offended them.

the cheapest good balanced amp for the focal clears is a THX amp? Or would SW51+ be the way to go. Yggdrasil SE output problems ><.

If you're worried about the Yggdrasil SE outs, might be worth your time grabbing a Freya S: that way you'll have balanced/SE conversion problem solved forever, for any amp.

Out of Gungnir Multibit a2, THX + Clears were too bright/not synergistic, and I greatly preferred the Asgard 3 + Clear combo (which had better layering, fuller soundstage). Considering Gungnir Multibit a2 and Yggdrasil a1 seem to have similar tonality, would not recommend THX + clears.
