    I found removing grills from HFM headphones made zero difference to the sound. Did you settle on the Bryston after trying lots of different speaker amps with the HE-6?

    Bryston isn’t the be all end all but it’s certainly no slouch. I have a 250W amp sitting here but convenience and fear of blown drivers keeps me content with the versatile BHA-1.
