    I think you have the right idea. The only reason I got in on this loaner was to see how a converter could compare to a USB-less setup, and IMO it's not close.

    I think I'll drop out too, just because I won't have time to get to it all week next week.

    @Merrick, interesting. I scrounged up a proper digital cable so I'll be retesting once it's back. Yeah you can send it to philip next.

    @Vent, @Wfojas, no problem.

    @bazelio - yes you were on it I just hadn't gotten around to updating the list yet.

    I shipped this off to @philipmorgan earlier today via UPS. My opinion of it didn't change.

    Received and fired up. I just want it to be noted there is small ding on the lower left casework corner. I'm not sure if this was like this or it happened in shipping but I just wanted it noted. I will give my thoughts later tonight.

    PLMK if I screwed anything up in the shipping and I'll make it right.

    It was well packed, so no clue it's pretty small, I just noticed it when i ran my thumb across it.

    I just got the SU-1, I would love to see how they compare to each other.

    Same. It should be back in a week or two and then you can borrow it. Would be cool to hear the SU-1.

    Got in up and running now, will let it burn in for a least 100 hours before any comments.

    What does the F1 use for output SPDIF, BNC, or I2s?

    coax SPDIF, though I think it does have a I2S pin header.
