    I'm want to experiment with a minimally designed, headband-less 'earfield' earspeaker. Just need a circular baffle (~100mm diameter) made out of anything sturdy, thin, and rigid with a cutout for a 2" driver. Kind of a sandbox project to test drivers / pads / damping etc.

    As long as a small screw can run through it without splitting the material, doesn't matter. Thinking about some posterboard if I can't find help (lol)

    Even if screws weren't an option I am not opposed to adhesive. Really just want anything to get started

    if I read this correctly: you would like a small screw with your wood. if adhesive helps your wood you are not opposed? and you just want to get started with screwing?
