    Hope you enjoy it! It has a lot of really good qualities to it. Nice step up in resolution from the previous gen Metrums. Even though it doesn't have the FPGA and paralleled DAC modules, the new DAC modules really capture a lot of that same magic from the better old school multibit chips.

    Part 2: I think it is priced very fairly for a non-oversampling DAC of its kind. For better or worse, though...damn, Pavane is just a monster in comparison SQ wise. Gotta hand it to Cees at Metrum for his work on the DAC modules and the forward correcting FPGA method. It paid off.

    I'm liking what I hear so far. But I lack the experience for a complete description. Tons of soundstage, deep bass that so far seems quite even, and very musical. Could Metrum be the anti-Schiit? Equal but opposite?
