Hey how is the L&P W2? I have heard great things about it.

I just ordered from MusicTeck yesterday I don't know how good their shipping is, but they seem to ship from the US rather than drop ship from China. Hopefully I'll get the order in a week or so.

I got the L&P W2 based on @Stuff Jones observations in his new dongle thread. I'll be able to compare it to a micro IDSD BL, which is nice but not conveniently portable. The SA6 is said to be source dependent, so it may not be that great for comparing upstream gear.

Musicteck is first class. I have been thinking about the W2 for sometime now. But the digital nasty that stuff jones mentions is a bit concerning. I’ll hold off for now.

Thanks. It is good to hear that Musicteck is a reliable vendor. I've refrained from commenting on @Stuff Jones USB dongle thread because I don't yet have anything of value to add. I am watching it, hoping to see some good information emerge and to comment when appropriate

@EagleWings - I don't think I mentioned any digital stuff with the W2 did I? That was about the GO series. Sorry if I was confusing!

The W2 is energetic with only just a touch of warm, but I wouldn't describe it as digital sounding.

@Stuff Jones , I just read your dongle thread and you had mentioned something about digital nasties on the W2, which I took as a red flag. My bad If I misinterpreted it.
