    Silver has a distinct sound. More so than Cu or even Al. From engineering perspective a small driver that has to do high freq makes most sense with CCAW voicecoil . Pure copper is beneficial with bigger drivers, where conductivity in low to mid registers beats the weight penalty. The CCAW likely sounds worse in terms of secondary material properties relative to high purity copper.
