A few average to weak in terms of dynamics songs that I checked in my big speaker rig sound fun and explosive on these puny buds. The added effect is not realistic per say, yet I have to say it is fun. I refuse to believe they do anything inherently acoustically excellent.
I was wondering, could it be some clever algorithm ''attempting to reconstruct'' what was through all digital evil removed.
Hear my reasoning. There is long been 'AI' at work with mic enhancement and noice cancelling to make voices more intelligible and remove various formats of ambient noise in real time.
Why not do something along the lines with reproduction. Any audio tinkerer knows by adding any 'stage' you remove information from the source. Consider the chain of crap in a BT headset. So something should attempt to estimate back what the original kind of was. Wrong as it may be - one evil counters another.
