Am I insane as ASR site says or what?

I bought a nice dac and a liquid spark amp, to me I can hear a clear difference between it and my smartphone. While not big, the external setup with the spark sounds much smoother. There is no question the smartphone sounds congested however Amir says this is not possible and I am imagining things and I must do a blind test

However what is the point of the instant blind test when it takes 5 mins for me to hear a difference?

What u guys think? ASR on bullsheit or legit? Something isnt adding up
