    Isn't the Deckard supposed to be a repackaged Matrix M-Stage? Not sure, but I thought I had heard something to that effect.

    The M-Stage was a BCL clone up until the HPA-3B and HPA-3U. The Deckard is an OEM version of the SE 3U, the 3B is balanced. I've no idea whether the 3x design was derived in some way from the BCL. That's all just based on internal photos and talk here, though.

    There are differences, but the main core of the project is equal. DAC is different too. I’d say the Deckard is custom made for Audeze’s specs.
