Beyerdynamic Custom Studio (with hm5 hybrid pads) VS DT770 80 ohm

    as the title says, here's my rather simple comparison between the Custom Studios with HM5 hybrid pads and the DT770 with the stock pads.

    Be warned that these are quick and rough measurements, simply to show the relative differences!

    Custom Studio sounds too neutral to me with the stock pads, DT770 gets too stuffy sounding with anything else. Just my taste :p

    I prefer the Custom Studios between the two. The DT770 treble is just too harsh, especially in the lower treble. The Custom Studio has a good treble range that is more leveled with the mids.
