I did a search of the site and didn't find any reference to this. For those who enjoy live music I wanted to bring attention to a great site:

    nyctaper.com ( http://nyctaper.com )

This is an archive of hundreds of live recordings going back more than a decade. These are not bootlegs. These are produced by a handful of people with established relationships with certain venues in and around NYC recording bands that are taping-friendly. Some you will have heard of, some you will not. The front page of the site has the latest activity, and each page in the archive gives the details of the show, with pictures, production details, and usually has a linked SoundCloud box so you can preview before downloading. Pretty much all shows are available as Redbook or better FLACS and mp3s.

The shows are captured with care by a pair of expensive mics placed at or near the sound board and for most shows they get a feed from the board and the result helps firm up the mic recording. They use either Schoeps, Senn, or Neumann mics. I have found when you get the volume just right (doesn't have to be loud) and close your eyes it can feel like you're there. I usually EQ the treble up a bit because they tend to sound a bit cavernous. I really like the sound of actual people playing together in a room, even if it's far from perfect.

I will be so bold as to recommend a few examples that I've found to be worth my time, but with what must be my standard disclaimer: It's not for everybody!

If you know this band you will find this a treat. I have all their stuff and before hearing this I wondered how it would be possible to play this music live, and it turns out, exceedingly well! This is a 2 hour extravaganza in front of a respectfull audience familiar with the material. If you're not familiar with this band/group this is a great sampling of their work. (Definitely not for everybody.)

Tim Showalter's band does a benefit concert and puts a lot of feeling into it. This one has a bit of audio issue in that the backup singers don't seem to be mic'd but this doesn't affect every song.

Sharon Van Etten at the Rock Shop in Brooklyn in 2010.

The rest you can discover on your own.
