I just bought a Yggdrasil and need to sell some stuff.

the Aleph J is the best sounding solid state amp
I’ve ever heard. It sounds like a tube hybrid. It’s too noisy to use with headphones but it’s fine for speakers. Its not a power house probably best for speakers on the more efficient side of things.

it’s a clean build. The guy who sold it to me actually wants to buy it back but I figure I’ll offer it to SBAF first. If no one grabs it soon it goes back to the previous owner.

people I know get first dibs.

I don’t think either amp is perfect cosmetically but nothing major. No dings or serious scratches. Nothing you would see without scrutiny.

I may not be able to ship immediately but within the week should be safe to count on. I am not mobile currently and need a friend to ship stuff for me. So it depends on her schedule.

    Aleph J clone SOLD!

700$ plus shipping which is at least 100$ These are big, heavy amps. PayPal FF or you pay fees.

    F7 Clone SOLD!

This chassis costs 500$ alone. So this is a killer deal. Even just to “roll First Watt amps”

there appears to be a few tiny dings see pic

I will be completely transparent and say that I did not like the F7 much. It is a bit lean for my taste but I was told by a First Watt expert that it’s just not as warm as the Aleph J - less H2. With an iFI Defender (or GDN? I can’t remember which) it’s dead quiet with the HE6.

There are a few tiny dings like this one I saw two on the top panel and one on the front panel but there could be a couple more. You can’t see them unless looking for them.

Very nice. A Klipsch owner looking for an amp should buy one of these.

If I were not literally in the middle of finally hooking up my Aegir monoblocks I would be all over that F7 clone. Epic stuff, the Yggdrasil required some serious sacrifices!

yeah I love the Aleph J especially. But I got them for orthos and have an Uber DIY Cavalli amp incoming so I was really just saving these for a future speaker upgrade. I realized I’d rather have the goods now! :)
