    Pretty close to being the same. I wasn’t able to do a direct comparison with my purchased production unit, whereas I was able to a/b a pre-production unit with a modded FD01. The pre-production unit and modded FD01 where pretty identical. A couple of months later, when my production FDX1 arrived (I no longer had the other units to compare), I thought my production FDX1 had noticeably tighter/faster bass.
