FS: Help me upgrade my TT sale

Hey everyone! The Mani has reminded me how much I love vinyl and the next obvious step for me is to upgrade my turntable. To that end I’m clearing out some items to generate the funds I need to buy a unit I’m looking at from a local seller. For now, sales are for Friends/Contributors only and shipping is only within the continental US. All prices include shipping but not PayPal fees.

ETA Gen G $450 - Recently tuned up using the new tuning dots, this set sounds exceptional. I’m only selling it to fund a new turntable otherwise I would be keeping it. This includes an HD650 headband and no cable. Sold to @daduy

Opamp modded Modi Multibit $150 - This unit has OPA1656 opamps and the DC servo opamp has been replaced with the OPA2156. Check with others who have listened to the Modi MB with these mods, it’s like hearing a nearly different DAC. Sold to @elwappo99

Pioneer Elite DV-79AVi $300 - This was once a $1k top of the line DVD player but it has particular interest as an excellent CD/SACD/DVD-A player. It even has a “Pure Audio “ mode that turns everything off that could interfere with the audio path, including the front LED panel. I’ve had this for years, it sounds amazing. SACD/DVD-A playback is limited to the analog outs of the unit unless you happen to have an A/V receiver with an i-link connection. CD playback can be done via analog outs or digitally to a DAC via optical or SPDIF. The unit does have 5.1 analog outs for SACD/DVD-A and it’s also a hell of an up scaling DVD player too. Again, something I’m only selling because of how seriously I am investing in vinyl. Removed as I was able to upgrade my table without selling this.

JVC FDX1 $100 - Comes in original Drop packaging with carrying case, cable, and filters. I also have a 4.4mm balanced cable I will include. Sold to @imackler

UM 3DT $125- Just the IEMs, no original packaging or accessories with hybrid foam/silicone tips, which I found helped tamed the treble beyond the micropore mod. Speaking of, the micropore mod has already been applied to these. I will also include an additional 4.4mm balanced cable in addition to the stock cable.

David Bowie Who Can I Be Now Vinyl Box set $150 - The second of the career spanning box sets released in the wake of Bowie’s death. Includes the albums Diamond Dogs, two mixes of David Live, Young Americans, two mixes of Station to Station, Live at Nassau Coliseum 1976 and the Re/Call 2 disc which collects singles, single mixes, b-sides etc from this period. Sold to @Qildail

Removed the Pioneer as I was able to upgrade my table without selling it. I also dropped the price on the Bowie box to $150 as I have individual pressings of most of these albums so I am not in great need of the box and want someone else to be able to get some great records for a good price.

 

Lowered the price on the UM 3DT if anyone is interested.
