I bought this used and ended up preferring a different energizer. Looks flawless to me, you can confirm that's the case once I upload pics.
Important note: the voltage is for Japan, if you're not using this in Japan then you'll need a step-down transformer or see the replies to this post for other options.

I didn't use it much and most of the time it was with a friend who was going to convert it to NOS (but that never happened). This DAC is as it was when I purchased from US Audio Mart (no additional mods done).

I tried it for a couple days and confirmed, even configured as NOS, I don't like the TDA 1541a. A local friend is currently borrowing it and considering a purchase. Feel free to DM me to reserve a spot in line if it doesn't sell.

• CLAIMED ASC Capacitor 60uF 500Vdc LTI 4-5 Series Metalized Polypropylene. 3 pairs. One pair used briefly, the other two are new.
• CLAIMED Breakout board for the Alps blue velvet POT. 3 of them.
• CLAIMED Resistors for the BH Crack volume mod. I messed up the stock pot attempting this mod and ended up replacing it with the Alps blue velvet instead. Specifically 75k OHM and 33.2K OHM resistors. I have a few of each and most are unused.
• CLAIMED Pair of GE 6FQ7 tubes that came with a Stax Energizer. I don't know how old they are nor anything beyond the fact that they worked when I tried them which is why they're free. I barely used them.

Jameco makes a USA compatible power supply for the Stax Energizer with the proper +/- orientation

 

Hey interested in the 960

 

Any 12V power supply, or a USB-C PD powerbank and a 12V cable would work with the Stax enerigzer, provided you either

- cut and reterminate with a regular 2.5mm plug inverting polarity (or cut and cross wires), or
- use one of the cheap inverting cable adapters available from Amazon/Aliexpress

iFi iPowers come with an inverting pigtail also. Chances are the 12V model would work fine for this energizer.
