The reference electrostatic headphone amplifier. I think the Carbon needs little introduction.
Super transparent and neutral. Signature and soundstage takes the characteristics of your chain.
It uses C2M1000170D silicon carbide field effect transistors (SiC FET) as output transistors. This component has been out of stock globally. I was fortunate enough to have bought around 10 before the shortage started.
This unit runs at dual 450V voltage rails. 20mA output bias. Uses the golden reference power supply for both high voltage and low voltage rails, genuine matched 2SK170BL jfet input and the original c2m1000170d for amp and GRHV sections.
Full aluminum chassis with laser engraved logos. TKD 2600 volume pot and solid silver wiring for input signals. Shielded toroidal transformer. Oversized heatsinks. Fully custom heatsink and aluminium chassis. The output signal wires and the earspeaker socket are taken from an original Stax silver plated copper extension cable.

Dimensions are 36*31*15cm (width*depth*height), not inclusive of protuding parts.
