FS (US): Abyss 1266 Phi headphones with upgraded pads & leather headband

Hi everyone, I'm selling my pair of Abyss 1266 Phi headphones, which are in excellent condition (please see the photos below and here on imgur). I purchased these headphones a year ago from this FS listing on US Audio Mart.

The previous owner had upgraded the headphones with the better CC pads and the thicker, more padded and comfortable headband. I paid $2850 for them. Because those CC pads are in terrible condition, I purchased a new pair of the latest pads in October for $350. These pads are in like new condition. Also included are the original Phi pads, which are in excellent condition, the original shipping boxes and warranty card (but not the manual), the wooden display box, the black velvety bag, several pairs of o-rings, the original Abyss cable, and the original Abyss balanced to single-ended adapter cable.

Altogether, then, I spent $3200 on the headphones. I’m selling them for $2700, including PayPal fees and fully insured UPS ground shipping within the lower 48 states of the continental US.

The headphones come from a smoke-free, cologne-free home. We do have cats, though; I will wipe down everything with a lint-free microfiber cloth before shipping. Please select PayPal “Goods and Services” so that we’re both protected. A PayPal invoice will be issued and the sale considered closed once the invoice has been paid. The sale is in US dollars. I will ship only to a verified PayPal account and address. The sale is final and on a first come, first served basis. The item is sold “as is.” I’d be happy to work with you if any issues come up.

I’ll include the poor quality CC pads anyway, in case the buyer wishes to experiment with them; the mounting rings alone might be useful for pad rolling.
