FS: Voyd turntable with SME V tonearm FS in Chicago

I’m posting this for a friend. He has a Voyd turntable with SME V tonearm for sale in Chicago and is looking for a local buyer to pick it up. I used to own it back in the 90s then sold it to him. It’s a 3-motor design and the belt is a bit tricky to install but I came up with a way to make it a little easier and help advise. This turntable/tonearm combo sounds great with the Benz Ruby, Dynavector, VDH, Audio Note IO cartridge. He’s asking $3000. Here are some photos. Does not include a cartridge.

 

Great price basically you get the turntable for free since the SME V5 tonearm alone is north of $3k

@Donald North , what's the TT model? I don't know much about the brand.

 

It’s the original Voyd turntable made in the late 80s/early 90s with acrylic platter and 3 motors. It was favorably reviewed (as were all their models) by Hi-Fi Choice in UK in the 90s. Perhaps the reviewed are archived somewhere online.
