FS: VPI Classic 1, Periphery Ring, 3D Arm, XLR Junction Box

Since I got the Kronos Sparta last April the VPI has been sitting unused in a corner. It pains me to see such a nice table go unused so it's time to send it and it's associated bits and pieces to a good home. Prices are in USD.

$1750 VPI Classic 1: I am the original owner purchased new in March 2014. Comes with original 10.5" metal arm (NOT the 3D arm pictured) and Soundsmith counterintuitive. This is the latest/final production version with the 600rpm motor in the back and mini-sds built in. The motor is a touch noisy but it does not affect speed stability or playback. Cosmetically excellent please see pictures. Will ship in original packing material with original rubber mat, original screw down clamp and everything that came with the table. XLR junction box pictured will be replaced with original SE output box. Periphery clamp/HRX weight does not come with the table. (see below)

$900 VPI 10.5" 3D Armwand: This is a brand new 2016 production (post droopy issue) 3D armwand. Armwand only. Does not come with base.

SOLD $600 VPI Periphery Ring Clamp: I am the third owner of this clamp. I have had to glue the felt strips back onto the inside but otherwise it's in very good shape.

Small update for people asking about shipping.

The table ships as two boxes; one has the platter, the other has everything else. The dimensions are:

table + arm 24"x20x12.5 48lbs
platter 16"x16x4.5 22lbs

To most places in the USA it comes out to roughly $170USD via Fedex ground with a declared value of $2000 CAD.

 

Last call before I put the table/arm up on Canuckaudiomart, head-fi, kijiji etc...

I realize the cost of shipping the table is likely an issue for American friends so I'm willing to go 50/50 on that.

 

That Classic 1 might be an investment piece...
