I did! The problem though with these is they had TOO much bass. It made them easy to drive, but they had no soul. The pads added some air, but it was all messed up and HF was just flat and confused - too hazy. I agree with you though...start with a Foxtex T-50III planar, mod them, and then have an amp to go with. They will NEED an amp. Everyone knows this. Modhouse and Mayflower seem to be the biggest modding and reselling T50's these days.
