Found a Magnavox Octogan Vintage Console and I am not sure if I should buy it. It is $60 but it also comes with about $50 worth of LP's. I am going to go take a look at it on Friday anything I should check for / watch out for?

Nope, consoles with very rare exceptions(bozak mostly) tend to not have great tables, or great speakers in them, they are hard to sell on as well. You'd be doing a lot better just buying a cheap reliable 70s DD technics, pioneer, sony, etc. If you tell me your nearest metro CL I'll take a gander and post anything I find in this thread if you'd like.

RI (Cranston/Warwick) for CL. And depending on what records the guy actually has.. if the records are good for the price should I buy anyways? He was selling the console with the records for total $60.. And according to the picture there is at least 20+ records. Now obviously if they are in good Condition. Like for $60 it's kind of a steal lol. I really am trying to stay under $100 at the moment. I have a Kenwood KR-720 reciever.. My speakers arent AMAZING but they are decent for the price I got them for (Black Friday $60). They are Polk 5 1/4" from Bestbuy.

If they are records you actually want, sure, maybe just buy the records.

Haha thank you.. Is Uturn Orbit actually as good as I hear? I was about to buy an AT LP-120 for $250 but it was kind of out of my price range so the $180 of the Orbit seems decent?

This merely my opinion, but I think the u-turn punches in the same range as the Pro-ject essential and RP1, especially if you grab a better cart. That said for a near no set up, plug and play deck, it's definitely one of the best ways to start into vinyl. It's no giant slayer, but it's good very good fundamentals.
