Measurements of Final Carbon by MaxNANO (DIY)

I just wanted to share my utter joy of listening to these headphones and provide the measurements taken by the author on my pair yesterday.

My personal impressions are that these are one of the most resolving and authentic-sounding headphones I ever listened to. Of course, my experience is quite limited but I've listened to Meze Empyrean and Abyss 1266 among others, which means I have a certain benchmark in my memory. I A/B tested the previous version of Final Carbons with Empyreans and found them to have a wider stage, less dark signature but a bit less natural timbres. The version I have now I did not compare with any headphones yet except with the previous version. My opinion is that this version is much more authentic sounding and has more detail.

In general, they reminded me Abyss 1266 very much. I cannot say that they are on par but very very close. They share the same feeling that the musical canvas has no empty spaces, it feels entirely alive. When I listened to Abyss for the first time, I compared it to putting my head under the musical shower. Final Carbons give me the same feeling.
