    FSP's pad depth is approx 1,9cm and V1 Momentums 1,65cm. I haven't had problems of my ears touching the driver on either.

    I have my strategically cut ruler (at the 0 point) for just these occasions :)

    EDIT: FSP's do need this extra padding, because of the higher clamping pressure.
