Yes, even with the LCD-4z. I test my amps with LCD-XCs which are also sensitive and Oblivion is very quiet with those.

 

Sounds like there may be something wrong with mine. It also has loose connections in the impedance knob and the XLR output (this one is configured with XLR Inputs and output)

Is there anyone in the US who could service the amp? I can't imagine shipping it all the way to the EU and back. If there's something wrong with it, I'd like to hear it working properly.

 

I can copy. I just compared it with the Cayin HA-300 MK2 last week and the Oblivion is quieter, even with the Focal Utopia or Clear MG Pro.

Hmm... But I want to note that the unit I tested is definitely a recent production one I think from spring 2022. Maybe the maker @SonicTrance can clarify if there is any revision since the debut?

 

Quite a lot of things has changed on the inside from start until now but the amp has always been quiet. Not sure exactly what unit @rhythmdevils has got though.

That's one of the early ones and it has been modded. Sorry, I can't be of much help without having the amp here. If you want to get rid of the hum I suggest you seek out a local repairman.
