So I'm embarrassed, but I need a little help....

So this is a bit of a long, messy, crazy story. But the cliff's notes version is (and some of you may remember from my profile posts) that back in October I was set to get a new roommate but she flaked at the last minute and I was unable to pay her half of the rent. This has created a nightmarish domino effect.

I was able to secure a new roommate for November and I thought I would be able to pay off the other half of that rent over time. The writers and actors strikes have decimated my income this year and I've been hanging on by a thread, which is why all the gear I have in house is on loan from friends (except the HD6XX).

But I've come to find out the management company wants that money by the 17th of this month or they will evict us. My parents are on a fixed income and my siblings have kids... it's just a terrible time for money. With all my other bills I am kind of drowning right now financially.

I have reached out to someone I thought was a friend (and who is well off financially) but it's been communication blackout on her end.... so I am running out of time and options. I even went to the bank for a loan but was rejected (my credit is okay but not the best).

So I am literally forced to reach out to anyone in this wonderful community and hoping someone (or multiple people?) might be able to help me with a short term loan (6 to 8 months). With late fees and month to month fees (because we didn't get a lease at that time) I owe about $1800. I am absolutely NOT trying to guilt anyone into helping me and I'm a little embarrassed as a grown ass man to have to even ask... I'm sure lots of you are on fixed budgets so no hard feelings either way, but I could really use a Christmas miracle right now so I don't have an eviction notice in my Christmas stocking.
