I love the heck out of this, but I feel terrible for how much money I've spent on audio gear in the past year and this would be an olive branch to the wife.

I'm sure many people are surprised to see me list this item given how passionate I am about it (I even have a page dedicated to it!). I'm surprised too. Frankly, I'd be surprised if I don't have a Master-11 in my house again by the end of the year.

This beauty needs little introduction. It is a single unit with a wonderful balanced R-2R multibit DAC that uses 4x PCM1704U-K chips. It also has a monstrous Class A headphone amp/preamp section (9000mW at 40 Ohm, 16000mW at 25 Ohm). Tons of inputs and outputs. Check out the Audio-GD page for full details:

    http://www.audio-gd.com/Master/Master-11/M11EN.htm

My new MHDT Labs Atlantis is nearly as good as the DAC section on the Master-11, which is exquisite (the Audio-GD has more detail and better separation, but both are very organic-sounding). It's also much more compact and cheaper. If I sell the Master-11 at a good price, I'm dropping way down the ladder to an MHDT Labs Atlantis going into a Garage1217 Project Sunrise III--but money is money.

If anyone is really interested in buying the Master-11 off me, I'll have a talk with the wife and will actually consider it. If I can downgrade my home setup without too much pain and come out ~$750 ahead, it would help ease the ridiculousness that is my audio gear buying habit.

I upgraded the I2S from RJ45 to HDMI ($20). It has the Amanero Combo384 board as well.

I've actually deleted this message a few times in the past few days, but I'm posting it here to gauge if anyone is seriously interested.

If I were to sell it, I'd sell it for less than you could get it from Audio-GD. I got it 3 months ago and it managed to stop me from trying to upgrade my home setup finally. Now I'm considering downgrading to something cheaper... almost certainly stupid. Eff it, I'm posting this anyway.

I paid $2099.10 for it 3 months ago and it's still in mint condition. The 10 year warranty transfers to you if you buy it from me (and probably the 9 remaining months of the first year free repair/shipping guarantee).

There really is no downside to buying Audio-GD products from other owners. It's less expensive, you get the full warranty, and shipping is faster (at least from me. I use FedEx at my work and things get you to super quick).

Current price directly from Audio-GD (with 8% off: 5% Chinese New Year discount & 3% exchange rate discount):

    $1950 for the Master-11
+ $20 for the HDMI upgrade
= $1812.40 with the current 8% off promotion
    + $112.50 for shipping
    = $1924.90
    + 3.7% PayPal charge
    = $1996.12

That is the current price of a Master-11 to your doorstep.

I'm thinking $1796. Friends get free shipping if gifted.
