    A number of headphones were virtualized using a Stax SR-009 and equalized to the same frequency response. The research found that the two forms of distortion that correlated strongly with listeners preferences were THD and non-coherent distortion. IMD and multi-tone distortion did not correlate well.

    The other thing to note is that listeners had difficulty telling apart most of the headphones except for headphone D.

    LOL, that's because all the "headphones" were played through an SR-009. Lame.
