Slightly pricey if it doesn't have any SE(++) upgrades?
Hey, but it's black
Dynaco Monoblocks. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649881699-dynaco-mk3-monoblocks/ - he has been dropping the price every few days , currently at $950.
I do not have personal experience with these but they look the part.
Used Bifrost 2 in Canada for $CAD700 (approx $US550) + shipping:
Intriguing! But I'd surely have to factor in the cost of the 2/64 upgrade cards. Then I might as well be buying the whole thing direct from Schiit.....
That'd certainly work for Albertans. Including the tax you'd pay to import to other provinces, getting a new Bifrost from Schiit would be a bit more than getting this plus a new card - and inserting a new card refreshes the warranty on the complete package (https://www.schiit.com/products/bifrost-264). So it might be worthwhile for some people.
Monoprice Cavalli Liquid Platinum $350 https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/monoprice-liquid-platinum-amp.30230/
$1295 CAD for a Bryston BHA-1 is a decent price, but from a dealer is a very good deal:
Gungnir unison, good price $899
Great deal on a Quicksilver Headphone Amp plus a lot of nice tubes - $950
Not really a deal, these never are. But super minty Joe Grado HP-1000 with all lettering intact and the foam in the box isn’t even crumbling so you know it hasn’t gotten into the drivers. IMO this is the best electrodynamic ever made and if I had to use one I’d buy this.
someone here buy these please
SW51+ for $300:
30$ each 2A3s with measurements
I believe @purr1n is a fan of these.
Looks like our own @elwappo99 is selling them... a bonus.
Hey that's me! If anyone wants these PM for a friend discount.
He-6 for 700 Euros. Local pickup in Germany. Don't know if we have any friends there, but heckuva deal for a 6 screw HE-6. Do we have any friends there?
Zach is getting rid of some demo gear.
SFD 1 MKII seems interesting. Plenty of amps too though.
Dayum, all these black SFD-1s coming on the market. At least the gold faceplate on mine doesn't affect the sound ... or does it
If we simplify gold as yellow, which has a wavelength of ~580nm, then take this is as a micron measurement against the speed of sound so 343 / 0.58, that puts us at 590 Hz (let's say 600 for round numbers), which is smack in the lower midband for warmer sound.
Not sure if a deal, but rare to see HE60 pop up.
Edit: It vanished.
