WTB/Trade For: Tungsram EL84 Pair w/Welded Plates and Foil O Getters

I know this is a very specific thing to be looking for, but you never know what people have collecting dust in a drawer somewhere.

I just picked up a pair of these Tungsrams from a guy on Head-Fi who just upgraded from a Pendant to a Cayin HA-300B MK II. l really like how they sound in my setup, and I’d love to have a backup pair if possible. I thought I’d reach out here and see if anyone has a pair they might want to sell or trade.

I have a really nice pair of Funkwerk Erfurt welded plate foil disc getters EL84s that I bought from the same seller on Head-Fi. These have a more balanced sound compared to the more mid-centric Tungsrams. They also have better extension in the lows and highs. I like them a lot, but I prefer the vocal presentation on the Tungsrams.

I also have various other pairs of nice EL84 pairs that I’d be willing to trade. I have Mullard, Amperex, Sylvania and Ei to name a few. I may have a few others as well, but I’ll have to look.
