Just wait till you start EQing them! You can shape them however you want and they dont distort, ring or do anything else shitty. I had to jump to the Aeon 2 open to get anything I found better!

I think A2O is EVEN bassier than the closed lol. It makes bass guitars jump to front of the mix like no other headphone I have tried. Its got a huge amount of energy in upper bass, makes everything sound really thick. I drop that region a bit with EQ most the time and I love it, most natural sounding Planar I have ever had. Very detailed and engaging to listen to.
