Performance issues with modern hardware aside, still an absolutely remarkable game. I apparently dunked 77 hours into it and I'm still not done with the main questline. Haven't picked it up in a few months but just exploring was beautiful.
@Lyander I do agree and solving the same quest in multiple ways is making the experience even better. Nonetheless, I highly recommend you to complete the main quests and all the subsequent DLC scenarios. I really like how the grand theme is beautifully presented in F:NV, if not the prettiest visualization.
My game of choice lately is Left 4 Dead 2 with relatives; we grew up in net cafes playing this game so there's a massive nostalgia factor, but that aside the game remains genuinely pretty; I likewise feel that while F:NV may have comparatively blocky textures and clunky mechanics, there's just a beauty to its design that makes it feel compelling. Work of art, that one.
Also: fully agree that the degree of freedom you have in solving choices is remarkable. I had no idea Charisma builds were terrible here but that's what I opted for at the start and it's been fun.
