Sony MDR-MV1, bright and thin sounding, techs only slightly better than the 7506. Plasticky build everywhere and overpriced, get something else unless you love Sony https://pro.sony/ue_US/products/headphones/mdr-mv1
Audeze MM-100, good entry level headphone, great metal build and construction, solid tuning and techs. FR aims to be like the MM-500 and a great choice at $399 https://www.audeze.com/products/mm-100
unity, awful awful awful. Did I mention awful? The demo at the show didn't work for most songs past 5 seconds. Sound was bloated bass and sibilant treble. Literally only was able to hear one Drake song. Thought it was a $300-400 headphone and it is $2,199 https://www.getunity.com/
Flipears Aurora, brand I saw in E-Earphone in Tokyo last month but didn't listen to them, big mistake. Wide soundstage on the Aurora and slammy bass. Great extension and solid FR. Bassy and pretty fun but most excellent timbre. Bought a pair at the show https://flipears.com/shop/custom-iem/aurora-2/
Great summaries. TY. The U4s the first kilobuck plus IEM I've been interested in a long while. How's the cohesion between the hybrid drivers? Hard for me to come around to that part of it.. cause hybrids have and still mostly suck.
