Haha! Definitely! Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett were the creative force behind the strongest songs on Selling England.. I believe. Lamb Lies Down.. was Gabriel's last album with the band. They released a couple more good albums with Hackett and then when Hackett left they started taking a notably more commercial turn with And then there were three.
We Can't Dance is IMO one of the worst Genesis albums, and this is coming from someone who really enjoys their pop period. The self-titled 1983 album and Invisible Touch are both superior pop records to my ears. But the prog era beats them all.
