It’s a restaurant in Old Town Elk Grove called Brickhouse. They have a 2/3 lb. garlic burger. Roasted chunks of garlic. Their Brickburger is very good too.

I grew up in EG, and know exactly where that’s at...spent too much time at Bob’s next door when I was younger.

Been here since '87. Good old Bob's. Used to hang there myself back in the early days. What 3 bars in town then? Brickhouse was butcher shop then. Did you go to E.G.H.S. ?

Dang...what 3? Aside from Bob's (been there 4ever), I seem to recall a bar next to Papas's Pizzeria (still favorite, sadly closed) - Yep, Markofer > Kerr > EGHS. That's home.

Maybe 2. Bob's and the one in the steak restaurant, now Chinese, just down the street. Was there one in the country store?

There's one at least on there. I used to teach at Valley. Started in '86. I lived in back of the Bel Air on E.G. Blvd. back then. Really is a small world sometimes.
