I'm content to say that I have nothing on my wish list at this time. My speaker setup keeps me smiling. I use JRiver MC21 in my Vaio to feed my Multifrost. I split the output to my Yamaha receiver. I run Mirage mains with an Energy sub. It's very pleasing sounding. The other split from the Multifrost goes to my Lyr 1 with either LSST, 6n23p Voshods, or other glass. My main cans right now are HE400is. I'm loving the sound in this combo. I have HD600s and K240 Sextetts that I move between this stack or my Magni Modi stack.

So for now it's all good. Never know what the future holds though.

 

The CEntrance DACPort has a 4490 chip but no battery.

 

Yes, I know I have heard the Dacport HD, rather rich sounding compared to the old dacport.

Also no clue. It would have to sound better than my Pono and offer SPDIF out and optional DAC functionality. Bonus points if it can handle streaming services and webradio.

2-channel system
Pretty much everything. I have a vintage Technics SL-1800 but I feel like I'd need to start from scratch for the rest of the chain. This will be down the line, when I can have a dedicated music room.

 

Since i have all the stuff i can afford at the moment and i am happy with it (check profile), then i add little the stuff i cannot afford at the moment (never know what future brings).

This little list will take a few years, but only temptations will pull me from this path..

 

I'm actually pretty happy where I am ATM. hd650 (lite mods), hd800 (eq), Gungnir Multibit, Ether (open), mjo2 (NOS tubes, as pre-amp) and dual cma800r fully balanced all the way through with good cables.

There isn't really anything that I wishing for. I did hear the new Stat coming out from Mr. Speakers and there is some real promise there. But overall, I'm about as satisfied as I've been in a few years.

 

All I'm really after is another HP amp. Considering the Glenn OTL, Ampsandsound Mogwai, DNA Stratus or another vintage receiver if I like my SX-1010 when I get it in.

I've been futzing about 2-channel considerations but I won't seriously pursue that until I have my own place.
