We visited some suburbs to the north for business, and some Londonistan neighhorhoods to the east of us via the Tube in search of good Nihari or Paya. The Punjab restaurant just north of Leicester Square, highly recommended by the white man, didn't cut for us. We eventually had to rely on an Uber driver to tell us where the authentic restaurants were. I figured my Sri Lankan work buddy, who has a beard, could "wing-it" and vouch for me in case I unintentionally violated Sharia law. I didn't want to end up like Wesley Crusher in that first season ST:TNG episode. I always make it a point to visit the shittier neighborhoods wherever I visit to get a complete sense of things. It was hard to do this in London area, not because it is a large area, but because it takes such a long time to get around. Also, the Tube smells.

I tried to visit "bad neighborhoods" in Sydney, but they really didn't exist. Well, they didn't look that bad. Nothing like skid row in El Lay.

LOL, references to ST and SW should have been the first indication to not take this thread seriously.

What happened in the UK is not my decision. I respect that decision and wish people in the UK the best. I wish other people would too instead of calling the majority voters stupid, ignorant, brainwashed, insane, etc., especially if they don't have a beef in it.

This has nothing to do with politics. The denigration of politicians is already bad enough. (Disagree with the policies instead.) The denigration of voters ... I don't know what to say. I'm sure that's winning over hearts and minds.
