O2 over FT3, but FT3 does offer what I consider headphones like the Audio Technica AD200, Sony SA-5000, MA900 are attempting to recreate. Heavily angled large drivers. I'm sure there are other weird things going on the time domain with the FT3. Hope to see some measurements.

O2 is an on ear and has a direct approach in presentation. The FT3 is more 'open' but there are the fatiguing upper registers that keep it from really excelling. EQ brings the FT3 into a really nice place. Good Price with the power of a larger manufacturer vs. 3D printing with the man hours added into the cost directly.

Anyone hear the Meze 109 pro and FT3? I think that would be a neat modern mid-range $$$ battle.

Up here in Canada, the 109 Pro is about twice the price of the FT3, so a different category to me.

If a guy had a Schiit Loki and bought the FT3, how happy could he make himself? And what would be required? Just dialing back the treble?

    Thanks for any advice.

    CORRECTION
Re-reading this thread and I noticed your comment about figuring out L/R in the dark. A very cool feature on the Nectar Sound headphones, both Bee's and Ambrosia's is the use of brail on the outside of the slider.
I just realized it was the Nectars when I put my Ambrosia's on this morning.
I have learned that three straight dots down is left. Three straight dots with an extra one in the middle is right. I thought it was cool, but couldn't see where I would use it but, it would be perfect for night time listening!

The Loki has an 8kHz adjustment point which is a bit short of the 10kHz where the offending resonance is located.
