Post your turntable setup...can't get enough of those spinners!

One table is going...the Scheu. My favorite sounding table actually, but I think it deserves to be in the new owners home! Spreading the joy!

 

That EAR table is super cool especially the drive system. What arm(s) are you planning to use? Kuzma?

I've always admired this turntable for it's innovative approach, sound quality and stability. I know one owner who set the speed controller using a KAB Strobe disc. 3 years later he pulled out the KAB Strobe to check the speed again. No adjustment was needed. Speed was STILL spot on! Rock solid 33.3 and 45. It never drifted even a bit.

1st arm will be a Helius Omega (Copper version) in black which I placed an order for.


2nd tonearm will be Kuzma 4 Point which is also in black.
3rd tonearm will be a Schroder Reference in a standalone pod.

At this CURRENT moment, the Scheu is my favorite sounding table Once the Discmaster is installed, it will need to earn that spot. I am sure it will do it, but as of RIGHT NOW, it is not the case!

Waiting on a custom armboard that I ordered from Kuzma. Then there will be a Kuzma 4 point tonearm on there

How hot is it inside that room, @shaizada ? Your AC must be on all the time, up in the Hills. Would love a description of all the stuff you have on and around the table.

 

Forget the description. I think I should invite you over for a listening session some time. Easier to listen to audio than just talk about it MSG me and we will figure it out.

ANOTHER major update ya'll.

I just picked up another new turntable to play with. It should arrive in a week or two:







Redpoint Model D, Triplanar VII Tonearm, Ikeda IT-407CR1 12" version, another Helius Silver Ruby, Dynavector XV-1T cartridge, Transfiguration Orpheus L cartridge, HRS M3 Base and a Siltech Lake Compass tonearm cable.

And its an interesting color to boot! Right now, I don't care much for the color, but it might grow on me when I get it. If not, I'll take it to a local shop and get it some nice automotive color. Maybe a white or grey or black...might be fun!

Mass loaded design (totally different sound compared to suspended tables). About 260 lbs in total here.

It is a week or two before I receive this turntable. I will definitely post pics once I do. The color is growing on me more and more I see the pictures...that's a good sign!
I'll see how I feel once I have it in hand.

One doesn't see purple audio gear much in their audio journey! LOL

One of these days I'd love to fly down for the day and come visit you for a listening session. I've told @drfindley, that next time you guys meet up I'd love to tag along.
